truck starts then dies unless i give it gas when starts?
So I have a 2000 powerstroke with about 260k. It has had a problem starting unless plugged In and then started blowing white smoke recently and has lost a lot of power, it even shut down driving down the road once. I took the truck in and was told the truck has three bad injectors and needs glowplugs, and glow plug relay. I will be replacing these things soon as I go back to san Antonio.So with that being said, could that have caused the truck to turn off after being started unless I stepped on the gas pedal? Or do you think it could be another issue? Thanks for replies.
