Loss of power after GTP38R and injector retorque
So today I installed a gtp38r and retorqued the injectors (i had put new o rings on recently and wanted to retorque). This made a big difference in injector noise just fyi. Anyway, problem is I was driving along about 5 miles after taking off from the install and the truck suddenly lost power and check engine came on. I pulled over and shut it off, looked around and found nothing and restarted. Truck ran fine. 5 minutes later the same thing happened and it was running terribly. I had a valve cover gasket injector harness fail on me once and it ran exactly like when that plug harness failed. I pulled over and it ran like crap until i put it in neutral then idled fine. Problem started again, this time I pulled over and put it in park and it kept running rough. I went and unplugged the passenger side harness while it was running and it continued to run rough. I then shut off and restarted the truck. Ran fine. I unplugged the passenger side harness again and it ran exactly like it had a few minutes before. Plugged the harness back in and it ran good, unplugged and ran bad. Anyway, the odd thing about it is that when my harness crapped out before, i could turn off and restart and it would run like crap no matter what. This time if it runs bad, i can shut it off and when i turn it back on seconds later the problem goes away. If its running rough and i pull the harness and re plug just runs crappy all the way through. If its running good and i pull the harness, it runs rough then runs good when i plug it back in. Could anything else be causing this? seems like a weird issue and it makes me if it isn't something other than the harness thats causing this. Would appreciate any advice - sorry for the long read.
