Oil Fountain...

Was on my way to pick up my date tonight (perfect timing right!) when my old man calls me and says there's a huge puddle of oil from where my truck was parked in the driveway

I pull over right away, sure enough oil is pissing out at a decent rate.
It's back in the driveway now, I still had oil on the stick, and it's leaking from about a foot behind where the drain plug is.

I'm not driving it to work tomorrow, and not taking it to Ford YET. Just looking for answers... I will try to get pics of it tomorrow and locate an exact location of leak, and perhaps you guys can diagnose what it is if I'm lucky. Then I'll decide if it's going to the dealer or if I'm tearing into it....

Is it coming from the inspection plate? look in the valley and see if you can tell if its coming from somewhere up there

check the valley.. my oil leak was about a foot behind the plug too and it ended up being a leaky pedestal and the ebpv was wet too

Thanks for chiming in guys, Before work I had a look and there's definitely lots of oil in the valley; fresh oil. So you think Pedestal?

To get to the HPOP, I need to get a couple things out of my way, what should I know before taking out the fuel filter assembly?

ALright, she's fixed. Turned out it was an HPOP line O-ring fitting, and apparently the ICP was done. If the ICP was shot, shouldn't it give me a Check light?
Total, 700$...I need to learn more about my 7.3
