I had to replace oil pan in my old truck with a 7.3l. they r prone to rust out. If u clean the pan really good and put some Gb weld around area it should work. Replacing oil pan is alot of money and labor. Ive seen gb weld do wonders.

alright I'll give it a shot. I gotta make sure that's where it's leaking. I'm pretty sure it is, the other day I wiped it all off and it looked to be clean toward the front and higher than the dipstick tube.

DANGER! Read up on this before you go poking around.

Its a simple o-ring replacement that can have disastrous results if not done properly. Search you-tube for a video on how its done and precautionary measures.

I think my oil pan is leaking from the gasket in front. What can I do to tell for sure?
