Changing oil pan. Questions about dipstick flange
So I will be pulling the motor & changing my leaky oil pan & have a question about the dipstick flange. My new pan did not come with one & I'm assuming the new ones don't. So what parts/gaskets/ O rings do I need to get to put the old flange on my new pan? I am assuming that I can reuse the old flange. Also how to do you know how tight to tighten the nut down that holds the flange on? I realize the absoulte ****ty nightmare that can happen if you have to mess with this flange with the pan on & the motor in the truck so I want to make sure I get it right.
