Well, one of our Ford Owners towing Bushtracker, had a CPS go out. Start, run 10 seconds and stall...

I remember reading that there was some controversy about what color CPS to get? And a Source?

His went out at 95,000 kms, not a drama but what if it was waaaaaay out bush. I think I better take the advice of carrying a spare in the glovebox routine... From memory it was about $100 from somewhere.. Powerstroke.org? Figured one of you Techies could give me the current Guff on it..... Regard from the Lone Ranger...

Oh I forgot Mr. Ranger not many down there. I work at a Ford dealer so I just get one from parts. I don't have much experience with the X-Brand sensors but I do know I have replaced some. Best bet is to just cough up the cash and get the real deal.

After conversion from Au$ that is still $350 U.S.!!!

I thought I saw a posting somewhere for a $100 unit from someone... But what am I looking for? Orange or black from memory two different units?

they are about 50 bucks off of ebay..but that is shipped to the US...it would still be cheaper shipped there...

factory price here is 180-190 us dollars.........at the dealer...

Yeah Lone do yourself a favor and buy it on e-bay and have it shipped to you. Be sure to check to make sure the seller ships to Austrailia too!

I thought I saw it on special from one of our Sponsors somehow, but then could not find it when I looked.. Thought it might have been on special for $100 from memory, but don't remember from whom, and there was some color controversy awhile back, was it between a black and an orange one?? One was good, the other not so good?

Shipped here getting through Monster Customs, I want the right one from good old Uncle Sam country...

i beleave the blue one is international, and the black on is ford...the blue one retards timing i beleave, but i could be wrong.....stay with the factory one unless your looking at BIG performance stuff.....

They are down to $98 now on special, and a reputable source and have both blue and black with a picture on the specials section... They have secure service for MasterCard. I will probably just go this route if they will ship AirMail to Oz..
