missing and dying probelm

I have a early 99 ford f250 super duty 7.3. Ive got a 4in straight pipe and a ts 6 position chip on it. I drove it the other day and it ran fine. I get in it the next day and it would rev up to 1500rpm then die. It will start back and idle fine. It start it back up and i slow ease into the throttle and when it gets to 1350 to 1400rpm it will miss really bad. If i slowly ease on it to the throttle it will slow rev on up and after awhile it will run fine until i kill the switch then it will start it all over again. does anybody know what could be causing this? i have replaced the icp and ipr so far
Thanks
