engine miss @1500 no smoke no codes

develpoed a engine miss at 1500 rpms new uvch pass all injectors pass the buzz test. cct #4 cyl fails and # 8 cyl only when motor idles to temp. lost alot of power new filters oil is good worried bout compression waiting for my tester whip from snap on to do compression. big question if i had low or bad compression in a hole or two wouldnt i get some sort of smoke on a heavy accel i dont even get any smoke. truck only has 61000mi.
