Engine dies, then picks back up

Started dying, then picks back up and runds before the vehicle even stops. Funny thing is, the dash lights up like I just cycled the key off and on again (except I didn't), all the idiot lights, the "wait to start" light, low fuel light, everything comes on and then goes off when the engine fires back up.

Does the key have a relay or something that could be going bad?

Dealer told me the crank sensor. I'm not sure I concur. Any other help would be appreciated.

Not sure if it is throwing codes or not. It's got a workhorse on it, so check engine light cycles on and off all the time.
