TPS Issue
Starts fine, idles fine. No throttle response from an idle on occasions. Seems to happen when the cab is warm or always when the floor heat vent is on. The kicker is I have the stupid adjustable pedals which more than triples the cost (over $500). Would like to convert back to standard fixed pedals. Will the plugs work? Or just change the sensor only.

Sounds like your idle position switch. Do you get a SES lite? This has happened to me. Take out the pedal assy, spray the idle position switch with contact cleaner, not the TPS. Work the switch after you sprayed it with contact cleaner. I have not been able to find just the switch, but there is a replacement for just the TPS. Hope this helps.

Yes the motor icon comes on. Sometimes after a few agonizing moments sitting a a green light it will clear and the pedal comes back. Usually I have to quickly shut the truck down and restart it. I have sprayed the TPS but I will do as you suggested with the assembly out. Thanks will let you know how it comes out.

My friend had the same problem. He removed the adjustable petals and put regular ones on and never happened again.
