IDM dieing?

Im working on a friends late 99 F350, it has had a random miss under accel. it jars the truck as if the injector is out of time. im worried that it will cause a bent rod. it had other problems but this one wont go away. i changed the ICP,CPS, EBPS and tube, and checked all the connections inside and outside the valvecovers. I cleared codes and they didnt come back. he drove the truck for a week and these showed back up P1670 P0344 P1211. Im thinking the IDM may be giving up. iv heard of a IDM relay sticking???? not sure on that though.

Check the batteries. Maybe a weak battery is causing some issues? Worth a shot before you go replacing the IDM
