no start when gets below 35 degrees

i recently bought a 99 f450 has 142000 miles it is hard to start when below 35 degrees sounds like its hitting but want run i can plug it in for 10minutes and it starts good i have replaced glowplugs and valvecover harness its takes the truck about 5 to 10 minutes to start running good once on road but still seems like its sluggissh
