Ran like crap and not starting...

Backround first.

early 99 7.3 with around 260,000 miles. 6 pos chip, 2000 model turbo, AD injectors, new glow plugs.

Sorry but explaining this might take a little bit. Recently changed out the injector cups in my PSD due to fuel in the degas bottle. Thought the problem was solved but a couple weeks later found more fuel in the bottle. (didnt use the right sealant). Anyway I had to leave for korea and my friend replaced the injector cups again using the correct sealant. while inside we replaced all glow plugs and injector o-rings. After he got it back together and waited the reccomended 24 hours he took it out for a test drive. Not a mile down the road truck started running like crap and barely made it back home. He determined it was running on 4 cylinders (passenger side). Now it wont start. it tries but just cant.

Things that have been checked:
fuses are good
WTS light is good
Tach moves and has Grey CPS
batteries are older but still test good
checked uvch harness but doesnt seem to be the problem.

They dont have access to a scanner as it is on my laptop... in korea... go figure. Been reading and reading but cant seem to come up with anything quite like my situation.

well, I guess I was misinformed when i said the UVCH was good. Apparently my buddy didnt check under the valve cover. Hopefully he'll be able to crack it back open within a day or two and tell me he needs 50 cents to fix my problem.
