Possibly simple question
I have what might be a simple question, I have 2 injectors with low balance I think it said. I realize that winter fuel SUCKS, and I'm going to burn more than normal, but I'm burning a LOT more than I was expecting.
Question; Will bad injectors cause me to burn more fuel? ![]() Thanks |

Yea if they're stuck open.
What kind of driving are you doing? City with no time for it to warm up or what? |

Mostly city some hwy. I do let her warm up in most cases, once in a while I jump in and go.

What kind of fuel mileage are you getting? Iffy injectors will definitly decrease your fuel mileage ,along with low high pressure oil . Optimum atomization of the fuel = better fuel economy.

I swapped out the HPOP with a reman 17* 10K ago. Probably in the 9-10mpg range. I was thinking the 2 I know were bad was going to be an issue. I'll just swap out the set. I think I want to move up to stage 1's, recommendations?
