P1670 code

This is the only code that comes up. My truck has a rough idle, a little sluggish on the first start of the day, then is fine the rest of the day. Sometimes has white smoke in the morning only and not excessive either. Replaced my cps already with a new one. I am leaning towards the idm. Does anybody have any advice or experiences with this code. Thanks.

Stop guessing on what is wrong
that code it for EF signal not detected there is a wire that runs from the pcm and idm that may be bad.
I did some more searching and one guy said he had the same issue and it had to do with the IPR wires take a look at that he claims once he cleaned them and re insulated or replace the wire harness it ran fine.
