2000 F350 GEM ISSUES.

I HAVE A 2000 F350 7.3 POWERSTROKE, about two weeks ago I was driving along and hit a bump and it quite for a second but didn’t stop running , to make a long story short every time I tap on the passenger fuse area it starts up, it acts like a lose wire but I looked all around and looks ok in there. could my GEM be going bad? I also have another issue with the betties going dead and narrowed it down to the power going to the fuses area near the GEM. what does the GEM do and can anyone help??
