Turbo swap?

Anyone know if a turno off of an 01 will swap right onto a 99? Trying to help a friends father out and ive got a low miliage 01 turbo sitting here i was gonna give him

It can be done. The intake is bigger on the 01, you would have to put the spyder from a 99.5-03 in and the pedestal. I think that is right. I'm someone else will chime in or do a search.

depends on if its an early 99 or late. Late will be the same turbo, it yours is early it will not work
