2001 f-350 pickup smoking
I have a f-350 no power stroke when you start it it smokes for about 5-10 minutes than clears up. If you rev the engine it smokes. It's fuel smoke not oil.
engine is new from ford long block about 5 years old only 40,00o miles on motor. New glow plugs installed 3000 miles ago. Starts easy. Runs fine.

No you need to have the injectors tested. The thing is you need to have it done when the engine is cold. Because that is when you are having the issue. You could have one or more injectors failing. Or you could have a bad cylinder.
I suggest a cylinder contribution test, an injector buzz test, and if those all pass then I suggest you have a cylinder compression test done. |
