Tach Layover/ No start
truck had been sitting for a while and would not start. So I went to jump it and the noticed the tach moving which was normal while cranking but then the tach needle moved all the way over to 6k rpm and stayed.. Now the tach wont move and the truck will crank but wont start..
Has anyone ever heard if this?

try the CPS seems to be a usual problem with these year trucks....

Will the CPS throw a code if its bad?
