white smoke and other issues
Hey guys, I'm sorry if this has already been covered but I've been reading a while and havent seen my exact scenario come up. I've got an 03 7.3 cc/lwb srw 4x4. I have replaced gpr, starter, hpop, #5 injector o ring, and some other minor stuff in the last few months. I put the Terminator T-500 hpop on and after about 20 miles I slipped an o-ring on the injector. Since I got that fixed I've been smelling diesel inside the cab and getting quite a bit of smoke on cold starts. Today it started blowing white smoke when i really get into the throttle. Checked today and I've got some fuel in the valley and it was a quart low of engine oil and a little low of coolant. Also the last few times I've started it under 40 degrees it kinda sputtered and didnt want to crank up but after a minute or so it started up and ran like brand new. I dont really know where to start and I dont have the money right here at christmas time to pay $75 an hour to diagnose it. I would really appreciate any info you guys could pass my way.
