How to remove clutch fan from water pump

Please help I got water pump out but can't get clutch fan off any ideas

air hammer on the nut, or rent the tools from auto zone. Air hammer, and a 15" cresent wrench worked for me.

Here's what I did on my 7.3 and my girlfriends crown Vic. I took the water pump off with the fan still on it (you have to unbolt the shroud and lift it all up together) and I took the assembly to Firestone or the dealer or something and they took care of it for $20. Much less stressful and easier than pulling it apart myself. Then I put it back together in two pieces. Piece of cake.
