Fuel Filter Bowl Rebuild question

2002 F350 7.3L PSD

I am rebuilding my fuel bowl due to leak... Guzzles walkthrough says to use liquid pipe thread that is diesel rated. I stopped by two auto parts stores and both only have
thread sealant with PTFE
and permatex high temp thread sealant

neither specify whether or not they will work with Diesel.. anyone know for sure if one of those will work. I'd hate to put all this back together only to have to start over because its not diesel friendly..

thanks!
