Ticking noise?
As some of you may know, I had an issue with my 7.3L starving for fuel. When it first happened (pulling a load) it starting ticking really loud at my feet. Then it started acting like it was out of fuel. I replaced the slave pump and all seemed to be good. Today I noticed on a big hill that the truck doesnt seem to have all its power. It down shifts and the rpms jump up and stay. It doesnt seem to want to keep climbing in the rpms. Seems like Im losing some of the boost. Also the ticking tried to start again for a couple seconds but went away. The ticking sounds like exhaust leak when it happens. Did I blow a seal somewhere? TIA Also I just had the trans rebuilt right before this started happening...
