01 7.3l Slightly Rough Idle, Slight Surge at around 50mph

I have an 01 7.3l with 172k miles. My mods are AFE stage 1 cold air, and a TS 6 position ship that I leave in the 80hp setting as I have not upgraded to 4'' exhaust yet. My problem is I am starting to have a little bit of a rough idle and a surge at around 50mph. The rough idle just started and the surge is only when I try and keep a constant speed in like a 50mph zone (I had the surge prior to instating the TS Chip). Under hard acceleration it runs as smooth as a top. The turbo seems to be a slight bit slower to spool them my fathers 03 but power wise they seem about the same. I have recently replaced the fuel filter. The computer shows no codes. I am wondering if maybe the injectors just have a bad spray pattern and are just not fouled enough to throw a code, or if I could have something else going on.

I have been chasing the same problem with my truck for a while now and have yet to figure it out. Did you ever find anything with yours?
