loud idle?

Hey guys, just looking for some suggestions here... i have a late 1999 f250 and regardless of weather(cold or hot) the truck will idle very loud. Ive had the truck for two years now and its done it ever since i owned the truck. The truck runs absolutely great, gets good fuel mileage, and has no other running issues at all. Its just when the truck idles it is very loud and chattery, if you increase the throttle at all the chatter will go right away.. i also have 2 other 7.3s i own and the comparison in idles is night and day from this truck to the other two.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

I was wondering if maybe a fuel crossover and regulated return would help cure this?

Let me know what ya think thanks!

the truck idles at bout 700 or so id say like normal. i have tw tunes and the hi idle runs about 1100 so its not that.. its just when the truck idles the motor noise and chatter seems very loud.. i know 7.3s are very chattery and loud to begin with but like i said compared to the other two 7.3s i have its way louder but idles at the same rpm.

I've run ashless 2-cycle oil in my fuel....1 oz to 1 gallon ratio. The truck tends to run a bit quieter with it in there. You can pick it up at Walmart. It's their SuperTech TCW-3 stuff.

I've heard the cross-over lines help reduce the noise too, but haven't done it myself.

Ok, thanks alot guys, and the truck is a late 99.. i was thinking it was a noisy number 8 as well thats why i was wondering if a regulated return and HPX would help out some of the noise? im about to order the kit from strictly diesel but let me know what ya think

thanks
