no reponses yet? Cant be too hard Im sure a ton of poeple here have done it? SHop wants to charge $150 (2hrs) labor to replace it?????

its easy. A little tight getting your hand in there but easy. Here's a link about how to rebuild it. (shop will not rebuild it for you) Just DONT lose the little needle if you do this!

Also I didnt have to make a tool like they did. A deep well socket fits on it, you just cant click the ratchet all the way into the socket. Pops loose pretty easy if you have a long handled 1/2" drive.

Thanks thats the IPR (injector pressure reg) is that the same as the fuel reg?

if it were me, i'd pull the whole bowl and replace all the orings while I was at it. cheap and easy to do. took me 2 hrs from start to finish, about 10 bucks for the kit.
your FP regulator may just need to be cleaned....... |
