2002 Check Engine Light Please Help

I did my auto to manual swap about a month ago and truck ran fine for about 3 weeks. Got a check engine light and i pulled the codes last friday. Pulled P0118, P1670, P1397, P0231, P0232, P0541, and P0683. I cleared the codes and saturday the light came back on but I didnt have a code reader with me so had to wait until today to pull codes. Started the truck and light went off. Tried to see what codes were in the freeze frame and could not connect with the PCM. It then threw a light again and the WTS light now stays on and the truck runs rough and has a miss. Fuel it up hard and it blows white smoke. Any Ideas???

First,

Now, check all your fluids, and check ALL your fuses.

If you don't have any bad fuses I would pull the chip, too.

Thank you. All fuses were good. I'll try pulling the chip.

Wow... that's a whole array of issues.

Only 1 I can see that is likely NOT an issue....

P0541

is the AIH... Air Intake Heater deleted? (A Plug in the spider?)

Other than that... i would charge up the batteries, clear the codes, and start checking wiring harnesses for a short somewhere.... first place I would check would be the wiring harness on the driver's side valve cover, right under the intake hose/CCV. It has a habit of rubbing on the valve cover and fraying the wire.

Again, i would pull the chip for diagnostic purposes, and put it back in once it's ruled out as the issue, AND after you get the issues cleared up.

Double check all your fuses, and does your cigarette lighter work? If the fuse to the cigarette lighter is bad its the same one the OBDII port uses.

You could also try this: Disconnect the batteries, (BOTH) then touch the +/- together, and let sit overnight. That might clear the codes. (Worked on my ram...haven't tried on my PSD)
