IMHO: If it aint broke, don't fix it. Not saying it's bad to keep a spare, but I wouldn't go replacing parts unless you had a reason to suspect they were going bad or malfunctioning.
That said, doing the looms sounds pretty cool.. I have been thinking about doing mine too, since I painted my I/C tubes/cover. PICS! |

When I came and got them the next day, there was oil seeping out the ends from the fibers in the walls of the silicone. Had a hard time getting the ones under the spider to stay put when I clamped down with the new T-Bolt clamps. If yours are oily AND you have the money for new ones, I would do the CCV FIRST, then put new boots on.
