Help with IDM failed & now and dealership

So i was using my Edge tuner and had it pluged in and got side tracked came back and finished the tuning but when i tried to start it just keeps cranking and i counldnt hear the fuel kicking on. I tired everything i could think of but nothing worked so had it towed to dealership and they are telling me its the IDM and they want a $1000 for a new one but i called autozone and they have one for 400. So im wondering what should i do buy the new one from the dealer or remaned from autozone for 400 they both have 12 month warranty. Thanks for any input

for 475 you can get the performance swapms diesel model then send the core back fro 200 or for even less get one from beans.
