2002 7.3 will not start

My truck started this morning, got to 7eleven, then it wouldn't start back up. The truck doesn't turn over, brand new started. The only thing it does is click when you turn the key, and thats something trying to turn the starter. My dad thinks its the starter relay , or the neutral plug switch thing I forgot what its called. Because those are both the common problem for this situation. The plug is just dirty and/or the relay needs replacing. The truck sat where it was left for 4 hours, then we went back, it started, so I drove it home. I think its the starter relay. Any ideas?

Sounds like dead/bad batteries. How old are they? (Yes, they can just die... happened to me)

Make sure you load test them.... and if they pass, test the alternator too.

Good luck!

Yea it wasnt the batteries, she turned on a few more times. Its at the dealer and the guy said it sounded like a faulty starter and it just had a new one put in before I bought it.

Bad solenoid. If it just clicks again then try tapping around and see what it does. Check connections too.
