bad injector?

so the symptoms of my truck are, it dont like to start, put a comp on it and it shows only 108 psi at the heads, i put a hydraulic gauge on hpop line goin to the passenger side head, and while cranking it shows 400 to 700 psi, and if it does start it runs amazing but i noticed at idle it smokes more than usual and it kinda looks like white smoke but not enough to really tell, oh ya i also removed a plug from the head and put my gauge on the port and it didnt even move while cranking with the hpop hooked up to both heads, gauge reads 0 to five thousand psi

sounds like an injector o-riing. Is the fuel in the fuel bowl black like it has oil in it? Even if it doesn't, I'd do o-rings.

My advice is find a good scanner and run a buzz test/check for codes

Sounds more like a Glow Plug/relay problem because you say it has a hard time starting and runs well once started.

Does plugging it in help with the start issue?

buzz test good, and no codes, but the pump pushes 400 to 700 psi within 4 seconds or so and it takes the heads bout 10 or longer to build pressure, i put a hydraulic gauge on the heads and read it manually not on the comp,
