I have a 2000 7.3 cc lb that just got put into the shop because i noticed a small oil leak figured it was just a line or o ring from the hpop since it was just replaced. Come to find out it has a couple o rings leakin like i figured. But the ICP was leaking too. What is the ICP for and how much should that cost me. They are tellin me around 700 800 dollars to fix the rings and put new ICP sensor in and replace the fuel filters. Is that about how much it should cost or they tryin to stick it in my a$$???

The icp takes about 5 mins total to change. It's as simple as unplugging it,screwing it out and screwing the new one back in. The rest of the o rings are almost as easy. I think a new icp however, is about 100.00

It might make since after you see the complete breakdown. Sometimes the dealer can be a little vague in there descriptions of what's needed in repairs. But the icp is right on the front of your drivers side head in place sight. Very easy to change out. If you unplug it and see oil then yes its probably bad but if its just leaking where it screws into the head you can just pit a new o ring there as well and not buy a new icp.
