Compressor Surge.

I hate it.
Wicked Wheel, Here I come.

Towing my gooseneck and weighing in @ over 30K lbs I couldnt hardly get over 13 PSI before the dang girl would surge like a mofo.

Yup, the worst part is that you have to let off to keep surge under control, then you loose RPMs and then you don't flow as much air and your EGTs go up.

I got a WW back home and the next time I go back it goin on

Yep, And pulling the grades in Indiana with well over 30K is hard enough, If I can keep it over 70, im fine. But Anything less I have to drop a gear with the zf6

Yeah I was only pullin about 7k through the appalachains of MD and still had surge issues.

well there isnt a whole lot to actually Cure the surge... you could do a ATS housing and WW but honestly i would just save your money and get a garret 38R and be done with it... that will cure the surge for sure

Yes but a WW is only $75-$125, Whats a good 38r, $1500. Don't get me wrong, a 38r would be AMAZING, but is out of my price range.
