New Gaskets in Motor no bottom end oil pressure???

Hey all, here is the deal, I had alot of issues with my 99 motor, burnt intake valves ( starter fluid not good for that) Cracked head, low and no commpression. SO I found a low KM motor but the guy had already taken the heads off to check them out. the heads looked great. The block is a 97 year block. SO I took my 99 (early) and removed all of the stuff off that motor and replaced ALL of the gaskets, o-rings and seals including the timing cover and oil pump off of the crank. Put it all back together and have NO oil pressure while cranking. The oil would leave the upper res and drain to the bottom end. SO I replaced the ICP and still have same issue no oil pressure. SO My question is did I maybe do something wrong with the oil pump and now it is not working? No oil out of the filter either when loose while cranking.
I've been at this truck for a month now and I'm VERY tired of it and am in need of help.
Any one on Ideas? Replace the oil pump at the crank with a new one????
