Lost steering and brakes at the same time!!!!

My 7.3 has been letting me down a lot lately.....I was driving down the road and lost my power steering and brakes and about a 1/4qt of fluid. the tow truck driver told me it was some hydro boost hose has anyone else had this problem?? or can someone point me in the right direction of where to start?
Thanks.......

What kind of fluid did you loose? Brake or power steering? Because the two are seperate from each other. The power steering has it's own pump. The brakes can be affected by the vacuum pump.

On your truck... Superduty's have hydro-boost brakes that run off the power steering pump.

Hydraulic pressure from the pump goes to the steering box, and then to the brake booster before returning back to the reservoir.
