99 7.3, running rough at 1500 rpm
hey guys I am a newbie here and to the diesel world. Just got a 99 7.3 with 162k 3" and 35's engine is bone stock. When driving the truck around 1500 rpm up to around 1800 rpm the truck will shake and buck pretty violently and I am usually doing around 35mph and 50 mph. When I give it throttle and get the rpms up to around 2000 it stops doing it. Im wondering if this is due to the lack of fuel?? I pulled the fuel filter and it looks pretty decent, but I will replace that. I am hoping not to dive into injector replacement just yet... any suggestions?? thanks.
