Idle issue, Driveability issues

Hello gentlemen, I need some help. First off, I have an '01 f250 7.3 auto with AIS intake, straight pipe stock exhaust, and a bullydog 6 position chip, stock otherwise. It has about 154k on the clock and i have only had it for a few months and about 4k miles. The problems: at an idle it will kinda jump 100-200 rpm every 3-5 seconds in bursts of three. It also seems to do this while im driving at a steady speed occasionally.

Problem two: While drivingat a steady speed it sounds and runs great, then when i try to accelerate, the injector cackle goes quiet and loses power. If i let off then stuff it, usually the cackle comes back and it will take off normal. But sometimes it just sounds like a clogged vacuum cleaner and is gutless.

I have no CEL and i have not noticed any smoke from the tailpipe when it does this.

Any ideas? Thanks
