Puzzled on fast startup

Although there isn't anything wrong with this but everyone I've asked doesn't know the answer to it.

The engine fires up faster when my fuel tank is under 1/4 but more like 1/8 of a tank. Normally it's a decent 5 sec crank when it fires up. Crank speed is the same just fires up faster when low on fuel.

Now don't know if it's something at the bottom or top if the fuel tank that gets sucked in when this happens.

Werid.

Also I know of another e99 owner that has this issue as well lol.

Now that you mentioned it, it's not 5 sec but shorter. But every now and then it's 5 sec . And still too long in my opinion. My obs put this truck to shame on crank time.

I'm gonna have to time it again. I just get in and crank till it starts lol. but when i was paying attention to it while back and was trying to reduce crank times, that's what I remember saying.

I hope your crank time is normal, thats about the same as mine. As for starting faster when you have less fuel, I have never noticed a difference but then I dont pay too much attention to crank time. Interested to hear if other people have the same findings as you, and what the cause is. If its true, maybe someone can fix it so we have shorter crank times regardless of how much fuel we have.
