two 7.3's two problems

I have two F450's, one runs fine till you drive it for 20 to 30 min, and it loses power and will go about 30 mph top speed. Has no codes and no cel. The other one starts fine but runs rough with alot of grey smoke buzz test was fine, it also has no codes or cel.

Of course, it would be impossible to diagnose your problems without knowing a lot more....

But those kind of issues, without throwing codes, are generally all about fuel delivery (pumps/screens/filters/lines/ etc.)

the one w/ the cel on, probably your Injcetor Driver Module (IDM). had the same symptoms years ago, IDM was dying.

Did both start having problems at the same time???? Did you go to the same gas station for fuel????

If so, you it most likely have bad fuel.

The trucks are not mine and they didnt start having problems at the same time. The one that would run then loose power he bought it that way. I had him take the tank out and it had a bunch of crap in the bottom of it, so he cleaned every thing and flushed the fuel lines, and new filter, and the truck is still doing it. The other truck he had someone put it on a scantool, and it showed nothing. So i put it on my A.E. and it said number 8 inj circut, and idm. So he replaced number 8 and swaped idm with the other truck and put new inj harness in and truck still runs rough and smells like raw fuel out the tailpipe.
