Turbo center housing inspection
I'm rebuilding the turbo off my 01 f-250 but I think maybe there might be a problem with the center housing. On the turbine (exhaust) side where the seal ring contacts the bore of the center housing there are several grooves that appear to be worn into it. I'm assuming they are not supposed to be there and the housing is junk, correct? Thanks!
