Question about ipr operation

2001 7.3 6spd , edge evo .This past weekend while installing me uvc clips I decided to tackle my slightly leaking ipr orings. After I got the solenoid off , I tried slipping the socket over it to remove the valve itself And it wouldn't go on. After some closer inspection it looks like the shaft of the ipr that the solenoid slides onto is slightly bent . I eventually got the ipr out by drilling out the center of the socket more .

Being a Sunday night I couldn't get a new valve so I had to throw it back together . The truck ran better than it ever has , but when i got home i decided to check for soft codes . The previous codes are gone but I now have a p1280 icp range low , but haven't noticed the ses light come on .

I'm running the truck with my edge Evo on extreme. Could that code be caused by the tuning since the ipr isn't leaking anymore , or could the ipr being bent slightly cause the issue ? Is there any moving parts inside that portion of the ipr ?

Thanks guys, Kyle .
