Reman engine

I have confirmed that I have an early 99 F350, but I'm not sure what engine I actually have. The engine was replaced by Ford under a warranty situation, but I'm not sure exactly what I've got. There is a green sticker saying it's a remanufactured engine, but the sticker was obscured so I couldn't read it all. What I'm wondering about is whether they would have replaced the old engine with the same exact internals, i.e. forged steel rods rather than powdered metal one's? Any way to check this?
