Need help with skipping/slamming
I have a 2002 F-350 automatic with 190,000 miles. I have been having a bad skipping, slamming (when in the throttle) BUT only when it is hot. I will literally leave my house and at the same spot everyday it starts. It starts off by ticking, then turns into knocking, then turns into slamming/jolting. If i shut the truck off and imediately start it back up it takes a while but it will fire and smokes like crazy (blue/white). If i turn it off and sit there for 30 minutes it will run fine for a little while and then starts all over again.
I have changed the fuel filter, cleaned the tank pickup, and added fuel additive for water.
I dont have a lot of money to throw at this right now so i am trying to narrow this problem down. I have searched through all the forums and have found similar posts but not ONLY WHEN HOT. Truck runs and starts fine when cold.
