Bearings are probably shot there is a thread on here how to rebuild your turbo. Assuming the impeller didn't damage the housing

I thought it was your stock turbo but the 38r apparently is not. From what I've read there really expensive to rebuild

Its buildable ,the catch.... by Garrett , at close to the same price as a new one. Try Majestic in Waco , maybe they can do something ... ???

yea i paid over 2,000 for this stupid thing 50,000 miles ago,and now its lookin like i have to buy a new one that sucks
is there a cheaper alternative to this thing i really dont want to spend what i did again but maybe something that will last, give more or equal performance, and be easily rebuilt again im just trying to figure out what to do if it is blown and have in and out play |
