Hard Start Cold - Fixed
FYI - I have been reading every post on hard start with no luck. Finally decided to run my truck with the valve covers off and discovered that one of the high pressure oil galley drain plugs was leaking. Every time I shut the truck off warm the oil would drain out of the head and I would have an extended crank to restart. The problem would not appear when the truck had been plugged in or was warm because the thin oil would quickly refill the head. Bob at Diesel o rings has the o rings for a couple of bucks. I hope this can save someone some time and grief. Thanks to all the people that post on this site. I have really appreciated all the info.
