Oil leak, think its the oil cooler
Started the truck up today let her warm up like always. while i was checking the tires etc..looked down and almost passed out. It was dumping oil..it ran down to the track bar drop bracket and onto my front end...i shut it off looked around I think its the oil cooler..but started it up and nothing the second time? How hard is it to do? I know it will be a mess!!!!! Im going to buy a whole unit and not fuss with replacing O rings etc

well my opinion is to just replace the orings. its alot cheaper.. if you have had any turbos blown anything that would cause shaving to get into the cooler yeah replace the whole thing but if all you got is and oil leak from the cooler i would just replace orings. the cooler is not hard to get off. drain the oil and the antifreeze. take the oil filter off and the inlet elbow to the water pump off. there is 2 bolts on the piece toward the front of the engine and there is 3 bolts at the oil filter housing. remove them and it would come right out. be out of the way there will still be oil and water come out when you take the bolts loose.
