Couple issues, not sure if serious...

Well I finally drove my truck on a lond distance drive. Got 20mph, would have gotten better if it was all just highway I am sure
First issues I noticed is if I punched it with the cruise control on my check engine light would come on for 30 seconds then turn off. Any idea why that is?
Second issue is my gas pedal is Hella sensitive since installing my DP chip is there any way to adjust it without doing it through the chip? Sucks when I hit a bump and my foot floors it for a second

Anyone know if I can tighten up the throttle without reprogramming the chip?
