Exclamation 7.3 wont start

i rebuilt my turbo last nite i put my truck back together started and it ran fine five mins later it started to miss and run rough i turned it off try to start it back and no start it just stumbled for a min icp has a little oil in the plug it has new crank sensor fuel is good new pump and fuel filter oil is good in the HPOP im thinking the icp sensor i replaced it a year ago ihave no code this time

no code means probably a fuel problem. is the pump working? drain the bowl and cycle the key to see if it fills up. Also, you have a good oil level in the truck? low oil wont let it run either.

ya and when its ready i try to start it well stumble then turn off afew mths back wail driving it did this for a min it stumble i pulled to the side then it cleared up check engine lite went off so when i scan it there was nothing then it ran fine til now

If it's the ICP that's keeping it from starting, unplugging it will tell you. If it starts unplugged then it's the problem

ya try that didnt do anything i did get a code this time its p0475 EBPV code and a p1294 code

ya i got the vavle cover off now i un pluged it all and pluged it back all pins looked good no bare wire what else should i look for and can i start it with the cover off to test it are there ways to test this

did you unplug it from the inside of the head there? the harness gets plugged in on both inside the cover and ont he outside.

yes, you can see if it will fire with out bolting the cover back on, but if it does, dont let it run for more than a sec, you will cover the engin in oil

Also, if this doesnt help, remove the harness completely and look for niks in the wire or scrapes wher eit could short it self out. after looking thoroughly, you dont find anything, it may very well be your IDM giving you trouble. you may need to replace it.
