2000 7.3 weird

I have a 2000 7.3 that acts weird. First it will run fine and then act like it is running out of fuel or filter is clogged. Have changed filter multiple times and 2 fuel pumps. Runs fine for about 50 miles and then stumbles and runs like it is out of fuel and will not hardly go. Took the tank off and cleaned it and the strainer on end of fuel pickup and again ran fine for 100 miles and then bam stuttering and nearly shuts down and with no power to move. please help me i am losing it over this deal. thanks

Having the exact same conditions, ck. my post yesterday (fuel starvation). I'm thinkin it's an issue with the $600 fuel sending unit, but won't know for sure until I drop the tank again. Also read on other post in this forum about this fuel systems having major fuel intake air leak issues and un-equal fuel pressures to the injectors which can be cured with after market bolt ons.
