so i put glow plugs in this truck the other day 99 (10/98) f350 and put it back together and now it has a miss in it. and i can easily feel it. i didnt un hook the VC gasket conection but i did unhook the big harnes that goes over the driver side VC. but i put it back on and tight. i dont know what happened? could i have unhooked the connector right at the injector u think? doesnt smoke or anything. and the engine was really clean on the inside, i was surprised. so i dont think a bad connection is the problem unless i jared something loose.

any hints suggestions are greatly appriciated

Check the VC using a meter..bet it poped off. When they get old they have a habit of faling off, Ford has clips to stop this.

how do i check the harrnes with a meater? like un clip it and make sure there is no dirt in it or just make sure its snugged up? they do? ill look into that
